Octurn is at the cutting edge of new-jazz languages, each project morphs their group into new formations, delivering large scale works of breathtaking rhythmic and harmonic invention where extreme sounds are guided by random principles and abstraction.. Here as a septet, they perform 7 eyes, a suite by pianist Jozef Dumoulin and baritone saxophonist Bo van der Werf, with electronic manipulations from IRCAM's Gilbert Nouno featuring guest vocalist Lynn Cassiers.
